Terms of Service — DescriptAI

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DescriptAI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

DescriptAI is an AI-powered product description generator for e-commerce sellers. The Service allows users to generate SEO-optimized product descriptions, titles, bullet points, and keywords for use on platforms including Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, Etsy, and eBay.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
Use the Service to generate spam or misleading product listings

5. Credits and Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive 10 credits per month. Paid plans provide additional credits as described on the pricing page. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over unless purchased as one-time top-ups. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. One-time credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been used.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you input into the Service. The AI-generated output is provided to you for your use. DescriptAI retains ownership of the Service, its technology, and all associated intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service itself.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before publishing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DescriptAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
